Mrs. Stanfords Class is having her first linky party all about Good Reads!!! I love it, and I have a few books that I am working on that I think qualify as "Good Reads".
First: "Mockingjay"
I am still reading this book, and I am enjoying it. I definitely like the first two books better, but this is still a great read from the Hunger Games series. I also went to the movies and watched the Hunger Games!! It was amazing. I am very happy that I waited for the crowds to die down before I went. I absolutely hate lines!
Secondly: The Daily 5 and Cafe
I keep these books on me when I go to work. I am still reading through them and I cant wait to implement this into my classroom next year.
Lastly: The Lucky One
I haven't read this book yet.... so I am not sure if it is a "Good Read" but I am taking it to Palm Springs so I hope it doesn't disappoint. Have you read it? What did you think?
Thanks for linking up!! Are we the same person? Three of those books are a must on my list!!!

Love the Cafe book and Daily Five. I don't implement everything that is in the books but rather take the parts that work best for me. I also read The Lucky One - I'm a big NIcholas Sparks fan! Not his best book, but I did enjoy it. And I still need to finish the Hunger Games series! I've only read the first one so far.

I do the same thing! I don't understand how they expect teachers to make that much time for language arts in one day.... so I improvise and make it work for me.

I love Daily 5. I haven't gotten to Cafe yet. I need to do that soon.

Yes! I would love to see how you would implement the CAFE ideas in your class.

I just finished the Mockingjay. It wasn't as good as the others, but I still really enjoyed it. I wish I could start the Hunger Games all over again for the first time. However, I don't know that my schedule or my hubby could take that again. I didn't talk to him for about 2.5 days and NOTHING got done around the house :). Glad I found you!

I read the first two while I was on vacation. Perfect time to isolate myself with a great book! Mockingjay hasn't been as addicting to read, but I am still enjoying it. Glad you found me too!

It seems like a lot of people feel about Mockingjay like we do. The first 2 were awesome, but for some reason , I can't get into the 3rd. I am your newest follower!
